2010 Petite Sirah

Francois Durif and Peloursin France probably won’t get your attention - but our Estate Petite Sirah will! Well known for its inky dark colors, somewhat bold tannins, and aromas of herbs and peppery overtones, this is the real deal. Prior to harvest in 2010, a heat wave presented serious challenges, but the remaining fruit contained intense lush and ripe flavours. This robust wine rested gently for a year in new American oak, and then slowly woke-up after a few more months in French oak barrels.
